* - Martindale test is a basic method of testing the fabric's resistance to abrasion. Special machine rubs the tested material with wool or sand paper under pressure. Depending on the strength of the fabric rubbing can continue without interruption for a few hours or days. The test result always shows the number of cycles (strokes).
